The health department will offer three CPR classes over the next four months. The first class, a HeartCode BLS Skills Checkoff, takes place next Thursday, September 8th, starting at 2:30 in the afternoon.

It’s an online, self-directed eLearning course that uses adaptive technology to allow learners to acquire and demonstrate Basic Life Support skills.

Also being held on September 8th starting at 4 pm is the Family & Friends CPR Course.

It teaches various CPR methods, including adult Hands-Only CPR, adult CPR with breaths, and child CPR with breaths.

The department will also offer a Heartsaver CPR AED course. This course is for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for their job. For schedule and pricing information, visit the link at krpsnews.com.
