The final Third Thursday of the year will take place later this week in downtown Joplin. KRPS’s Fred Fletcher-Fierro has more.

The once-a-month event hosted by the Downtown Joplin Alliance that takes place from March until October on the Third Thursday in downtown Joplin wraps up its six-month run later this week. There’ll be over 20 food trucks at this month’s event, in addition to vintage cars in the 100 block of Main street and the Artisan Market in the 500 block.
There will also be homemade piñata creation by Pinata Master, as well as pumpkin painting at The Boardroom and Chaos Brewing, and Historic Ghost tours hosted by Dream Theatre Co. And of course, live music from Mother Brothers on the 609 stage. The final Third Thursday of the season is this Thursday night, from 5:30 until 8:30.
