Missouri Governor Mike Parson will be making three stops in the area today, including two in Southwest Missouri. KRPS’s Fred Fletcher-Fierro has more.

Governor Parson will start his Wednesday in Branson where he will deliver the keynote address on the second day of the 2021 Governor Conference on Tourism at noon. The three day conference is held to expand the presence of tourism in Missouri.
Parson will then travel to Carthage where he will cut the ribbon at the expansion of the Carthage Technical Center at 2:20 this afternoon. The development will allow the tech center to offer new courses, including construction, carpentry, health science, I.T and a broadcasting and journalism program.
