Need work done on your home? Avoid these two companies

With the severe weather that hit the Four States on Monday, and rain forecasted later this week you could find yourself looking for a roofing company to make repairs. But the Better Business Bureau has issued a warning against using one Southwest Missouri company. KRPS’s Fred Fletcher-Fierro has more.

Don’t be fooled, Midwest Roofing Commercial & Residential Inc and Overland Roof Exchange Inc are the same company, located at 4174 North 20th St in Ozark, Missouri. Both companies have earned an “F” rating from the Better Business Bureau, the worst assessment.

A customer located in Springfield, Missouri, told the BBB he paid Overland Roof Exchange Inc., $6,000 in March of this year 2021 to replace his roof and some gutters after a storm damaged his home. The man said the company failed to show up for several start dates. While a business owner from Branson, Missouri, told the BBB he paid the company $10,000 in the spring of this year as a down payment to fix roofs on four buildings at a business complex that he owns. He said he has not heard much from the business since signing a contract. Neither Midwest Roofing nor Overland Roof Exchange are accredited by the Better Business Bureau. For 89 9 KRPS, I’m Fred Fletcher-Fierro
