ProMusica Joplin hosts The American Wild Ensemble to mark Missouri’s bicenntenial

Tonight, ProMusica Joplin is celebrating the bicentennial of Missouri with a unique performance of works composed by individuals with ties to Missouri. The classical and chamber music non-profit will welcome The American Wild Ensemble performing their Missouri Music at 200 program.

The concert takes place tonight at Wildcat Glades in Joplin. On Wednesday, I spoke with the Interim Executive Director of ProMusica Joplin, who is also a member of The American Wild Ensemble, Emlyn Johnson. I first what it’s been like working as Interim Director of the non-profit and also a performer.
