On Wednesday, Missouri Governor Mike Parson introduced a new incentive program in order to get more residents vaccinated against Covid-19. Recent updates to an interactive map can help you find a shot anywhere in Southwest Missouri. KRPS’s Fred Fletcher-Fierro has more.

Vaccine 417.com is a collaboration between the Springfield-Greene County health Department and other local public health agencies to create an expanded map that residents find a Covid-19 vaccine from Pineville and Southwest City, in the very southwest corner of Missouri. All the way north to Nevada, El Dorado Springs and Osceola and everywhere in between. On the map you’ll find community vaccine events, healthcare clinics and pharmacies. Whether walk-ins are welcome or appointment only. You can also filter results by the brand of vaccine that will be distributed. The two-shot Pfizer, Moderna vaccines or the ones shot J&J vaccine.
