On Wednesday, Missouri Governor Mike Parson will be in Southwest Missouri for two events. KRPS’s Fred Fletcher-Fierro has more.

Tomorrow morning, the Governor will travel to Butler, Missouri to attend a ribbon-cutting at an expansion of one of the largest temperature-controlled, transportation and warehousing companies in the country, Frozen Food Express Transportation Services. The company operates 14 warehouses in 12 states.
That evening, Parson will travel to Springfield to speak at the opening ceremonies of the 2021 American Junior Simmental Association, South Central Regional Junior Cattle Show taking place at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds. The event runs Wednesday through Saturday and includes live demos, judging content, and a cattle show. The following day, the Governor will travel to three cities for ceremonial bill signings and will finish out his day with an ‘Evening With Andy Reid’ event hosted by the Missouri Special Olympics.
