The state paused the use of the J & J vaccine on April 13th over concerns that it caused blood clots, including in the brain. The vaccine is also tied to the deaths of their people. Over 7-million Americans had received the one-shot jab before the FDA and CDC halted its use. In Missouri, 105,000 residents received the vaccine, including patients at a two-day mass vaccination event at Missouri State in Springfield the week before the CDC and FDA recommended that it stop its use for further review.

The vaccine now comes with a disclaimer that it could cause blood clots and possible death. According to the Missouri state department of health on Sunday, 36% of all Missourians have received at least 1 Covid-19 shot. While nearly are 26% fully vaccinated.
