The number of inoculated Missourians against Covid-19 nears 20%

The number of new Covid-19 cases continues to slow as the number of vaccines delivered to Missouri residents has reached nearly 20 percent. According to data from the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services late Tuesday, over 1.8, first and second Covid-19 vaccine doses have been administered statewide. That includes nearly 213,000 doses over the past 7-days. The two leading age groups for receiving a Covid-19 vaccine are Missourians 85 years and older, at 56.9 percent. And Missouri residents between the ages of 65 and 74 years old at 55.2 percent of the population.
