ProMusica Joplin has announced a six-concert series that will include the Brubeck Brothers Quartet. K R P S’s Fred Fletcher-Fierro has more.

The non-profit celebrating its 40th anniversary is calling the performances, A Reimagined conclusion to their 2020-2021 season. The six concerts include three streaming on-demand, the first with Clarinetist Anthony McGill will start to stream this Thursday, February 11th, for one week. The second scheduled on-demand concert is pianist Gloria Chien and will be available from February 25th through March 4th. Invoke Quartet will be the first outdoor performance of the ProMusica schedule on Thursday, April 8th, followed by the Boston Brass on May 27th, and the Brubeck Brothers Quartet on June 17th. The streaming concerts are a part of a new partnership with the Lincoln Music Society of Chamber Music Front Row: National Program.
