A union representing graduate students at the University of Kansas is calling for the school to halt in-person classes.

About 40 people have been charged with federal crimes in Kansas City as part of Operation LeGend, a federal initiative to address violent crime.

With classes at the University of Missouri’s flagship campus in Columbia starting in a week, officials are issuing new COVID-19 restrictions.

Five more Greene County, Missouri residents have died of COVID-19.  They were all in long-term care facilities. 

City officials in Joplin are seeking public comment on the future on two of the city’s historical sites.
