Today, Wednesday, July 1, is the halfway point of the year, and so much has changed and will continue to as the response to COVID-19 evolves. Recently KRPS’s Fred Fletcher-Fierro spoke with Dr. Elliot Fisher, a professor at the Dartmouth Atlas Project, who last week, for the second consecutive week named the Joplin area to have the high COVID-19 case growth rate in the country and it’s likely that slowing the spread of the virus didn’t come quickly enough as it should have in the Four States.
