College enrollment across Kansas is declining faster than it has in years, but that’s not stopping Washburn University from constructing a new law school building. Stephan Bisaha of the Kansas News Service explains it’s going up with shrinking in mind.

For the first time Missouri is reporting how much districts spend per pupil at every school in the state.

There  are six people being considered for the nonpartisan state demographer position in Missouri.

Missouri officials have denied St. Louis’s request for $15 million in tax credits for a soccer stadium. The Missouri Development Finance Board cancelled their December meeting to vote on the matter. St. Louis Public Radio’s statehouse reporter Jaclyn Driscoll has more on why the credits are in limbo.
