The parents of the Garden City Community College football player who died last year want the school to pay up. Corinne Boyer of the Kansas News Service reports from Garden City.

More Kansans are supporting legalizing recreational marijuana for people over the age of 21, according to a public opinion survey from Fort Hays State University.

There’s a national push to cut the cases of HIV by 90-percent in 10 years. Some lawmakers and advocates in Missouri want to get on board too. As St. Louis Public Radio’s statehouse reporter Jaclyn Driscoll reports there’s a bipartisan effort to update current HIV laws that aims to encourage people to get tested.
