With about 60 percent of the vote, Kansas decided yesterday to streamline the state’s census process. As Stephen Koranda of the Kansas News Service reports, the biggest impact will be on college communities.

In local elections, according to unofficial results, in the race for Pittsburg City Commission, Chuck Munsell has been re-elected to four year term, receiving the most amount of votes with 1,492.
