Kansas may be one step closer to both medical marijuana and allowing people with prescriptions from out of state to carry the drug in Kansas. Nomin Ujiyediin of the Kansas News Service explains.

Kansas lawmakers will consider amending the state’s constitution next year in regards to abortion, but advocates don’t agree on what it should say.

The state’s top health official is defending his departments’ use of patient information during an investigation of St. Louis Planned Parenthood’s abortion clinic. As St. Louis Public Radio’s Sarah Fentem reports, a state investigator requested the information, which included dates of patients’ menstrual periods.
