KU Hospital quietly settled a case last year in which a patient alleged the hospital misdiagnosed her with pancreatic cancer, unnecessarily removed her pancreas and other organs… and then covered it up. From KCUR Dan Margolies has more details.

Court officials are sanctioning Republican U-S Senate candidate Kris Kobach for how he oversaw a legal case when he was Kansas secretary of state. Kobach has agreed to complete diversion.

A dispute between Planned Parenthood and state officials is being heard at a regulatory hearing in St. Louis this week. On the first day of the hearing, attorneys for the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services used their time to try to make the case the clinic is unsafe. St. Louis Public Radio’s Sarah Fentem reports.

Missouri officials are bullish about a transportation concept that will shuttle people from St. Louis to Kansas City at really, really fast speeds. St. Louis Public Radio’s Jason Rosenbaum reports on why lawmakers believe the Hyperloop can be more than just wishful thinking.
