A new ranking puts Kansas among a handful of states where people default on student loans most often. As Stephen Koranda reports, the study crunched numbers from 2016 and found Kansas was 42nd in the nation when it comes to people paying off their student loans.

Many Kansans will have more options this year on the individual health insurance marketplace. Two more companies are joining the Kansas market, and one is expanding to cover more counties than past years.

The cities of Rolla and St. James as well as Phelps County are reporting sluggish sales tax revenue, in large part because of the growth of online sales.
