Enrollment for 2020 health insurance on the federal marketplace starts November 1. Kansans should comparison shop, even if they already picked a plan last year. Celia Llopis-Jepsen of the Kansas News Service has more.

The University of Kansas has received an eight million dollar grant to expand a program meant to improve bad behavior in K through twelve schools. The CW-FIT program trains teachers to reward positive behaviors instead of punishing bad ones.

Residents in Phelps County and it’s two largest cities will vote on November fifth whether to start charging local sales tax on online purchases. Saint Louis Public Radio’s Jonathan Ahl reports it’s the only item on the ballot in Rolla and St. James.
