It looked like Kansas Democrats were going to have their first high-profile primary for a U.S. Senate seat in decades. But as Stephen Koranda reports for the Kansas News Service, that changed on Thursday.

White House adviser Ivanka Trump heard from Kansas City-area parents and child care providers Thursday about issues they have with affordable, quality child care. The roundtable is one of several being held by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
