Jurors are deliberating whether a protection order was taken out unlawfully against an anti-abortion protester by a Wichita abortion rights advocate. As KMUW’s Nadya Faulx reports, closing statements were given Tuesday in the federal trial.

Voters in Pittsburg will go to the polls on Tuesday November 5th to elect three city commissioners. The two candidates acquiring the most votes receive four-year terms, while the candidate obtaining the third most votes will secure a two-year term.

Cities across Missouri use thousands of pounds of road salt to melt ice and snow in the winter. Some of this salt washes off the roads and can contaminate nearby streams.
