Kansas Congressman Roger Marshall says his concern about the national debt separates him from the crowded field of Republicans running for Senate. As Stephan Bisaha of the Kansas News Service reports, Marshall announced he was running for Senate at the Kansas State Fair Saturday.

But one student asked him to square that with the Trump administration’s treatment of immigrants coming to the U.S. from countries where they don’t feel safe. Pompeo defended Trump’s policies.
Missouri Governor Mike Parson formally announced Sunday he’s running for a second term as the state’s chief executive.
