Kansas lawmakers are reviewing problems this week and looking for solutions as a KanCare contractor struggles to meet state guidelines. As Stephen Koranda of the Kansas News Service reports, the issue with Aetna will take center stage later today.

A new report from the U-S Department of Energy shows Kansas added 543 megawatts of new wind energy in 2018 — the sixth-largest increase in the country.

A federal judge said he will rulelater today on whether to block Missouri’s law banning abortions after eight weeks of pregnancy. KCUR’s Dan Margolies reports.
