‘Focus On The Four States’ – Michael Longoria of The Midtown Men

As a part of Connect2Culture’s Curtains Up series, four-members of the original cast of The Jersey Boys are performing Saturday March 9 at 7:30 pm at Joplin High School’s performing arts center. The Midtown Men have performed internationally in China and Venice, and over 1000 performances across the US and Canada. Recently KRPS’s Fred Fletcher-Fierro spoke with Michael Longoria who played the role of Frank Valli in The Jersey Boys while developing the part of Joe Pesci. The Mexican-American born, Tony Award winning singer says that he grew up loving and listening to the songs of the 1960’s, influenced by his mother Juanita.

Fred started off the interview by asking Micheal to describe the show he co-wrote, The Midtown Men in his own words.
