‘Crimson And Gold Connection’ – Charlie Philips, Assistant Professor At PSU Speaks About Architectural Manufacturing Management and Technology Company Day(s) 2019

Architectural Manufacturing Management and Technology Company Day(s) at Pittsburg State takes place this year on Thursday Feburary 21 and Friday Feburary 22. Formally, the AMMT program was known as Wood Technology and in past years it was a 1-day event. These days, the degree program which is two or four years in length at the Kansas Technology Center is so much more than just wood and technology. Businesses from coast to coast visit Pittsburg State for AMMT Company Day, so many that a second day had to be added to the event. Assistant Professor at PSU Charlie Phillips joined us this week on the Crimson and Gold Connection. He says it’s common for students enrolled in PSU’s AMMT program to have at least one internship every summer, with some students dividing up their time off and interning at two companies.

The two-day event is open to Pittsburg State students of all majors and is free to attend.
