Coming to the Miller Theater at the Bicknell Center For The Arts is Pitt State’s production of Cabaret. Taking place on Thursday October 18th through Sunday the 21st. This week on the Crimson, Director of Theater at Pittsburg State Dr. Cynthia Allan talks about how Cabaret is a cautionary tale still very relevant in today’s uncertain times. PSU’s production of Cabaret is taking place over Homecoming weekend which has allowed the casting of theater alumni from PSU to work with current Pitt State students. A dark and seedy decorated Miller Theater along with a live band will accompany 20 performers to take audiences back in time to 1920’s Berlin and the emerging of the Third Reich.
There is no cost for Pitt State staff, faculty or students to attend Cabaret. Although you must secure a ticket ahead of time at the PSU Ticket Office in Room 137 of the Weede Physical Education Building.
Tickets can be purchased the box office at the Bicknell Center For The Arts. Also by visiting, Bicknellcenter.com or by calling 620-235-4536
