Pitt State Football has a record of 1 and 0 on the season after they defeated Central Oklahoma in the teams season opened, 21 to 7. The Gorillas used a combination of a 59-yard punt return for a touchdown and a hard-noised defense to secure the win. The Gorillas are on the road for the next two weeks, traveling to Emporia State to take on the Hornets Thursday, September 6. Kick off is at 7 PM. And then to PSU travels south to Oklahoma to take on the Riverhawks of Northeastern University on Saturday, September 15. Kick off in Tahlequah, Oklahoma is at 7 PM.
