Richard Hillderbrand is running unopposed in the District 13 Republican State Senate primary and is likely to take on Democratic contender Bryan Hoffman and Libertarian Sam Habjan in the General Election this November. Hilderbrand says that some of his top priorities if elected is the completion of Highway 69, in addition to mental health issues that face Kansas residents. This is in addition to keeping the state budget balanced while also ensuring that public schools are properly funded.
