The Kansas Legislature has approved a controversial measure allowing faith-based adoption agencies to be reimbursed by the state even if they turn away couples who don’t fit their religious beliefs.  Kansas farmers are expected to bring in the smallest winter wheat harvest in nearly three decades this year amid an ongoing drought that has stunted wheat fields across the state, according to estimates released Thursday. There will be no television cameras allowed to cover Gov. Eric Greitens’ felony invasion of privacy trial.
