Kansas lawmakers have reached a compromise with Republican Governor Jeff Colyer on changes that he wants to make in Medicaid. Kansas legislators advanced proposals Wednesday evening to add millions of new dollars to parts of the state budget some have viewed as neglected while also pursuing a plan for cutting taxes to return what many consider an unanticipated “windfall. Attorneys for Governor Eric Greitens want a St. Louis circuit judge to throw out almost all the evidence prosecutors have in the felony invasion of privacy case against the governor.
